Organizers are the foundation of the immigrant justice movement — and too many are being pushed out of the work they love by conditions that are entirely fixable.
In fall 2025, All Due Respect brought together twenty current immigration organizers to reflect on their experiences, analyze current conditions in the movement, and imagine the movement-wide shifts necessary to ensure they could thrive in their roles and do their best work. The result—this compass—is offered as a tool, meant to help organizers, organizational leaders, and funders assess the current state of the movement, build a shared vision of the future, and identify concrete opportunities for change.
Below you will find copies of the compass in English, Spanish, Arabic, and Vietnamese, alongside a toolkit for outreach and activation and a supplemental resource guide. We hope you will use the compass as it was intended, as a tool for reflection, discussion, sharing, and ultimately, to inspire action.
